It has been kiln fired to 1450 degrees Fahrenheit, permanently fusing the text to the porcelain. It will not wear, fade, or flake, even after prolonged use.
The image itself is food- and dishwasher safe, we do recommend hand washing if your plate or cup contains gold. Not microwave safe, gold will spark.
